The problem
Every home network has a dozen things on it and a router page that lists them by MAC address. Working out which one is the kid's iPad usually means unplugging something and watching which entry drops.
What Blocker does
It shows everything the router has seen, including devices that are currently offline, searchable by name, MAC or IP.
