Who we are
Boringware is a brand of Rocketship, LLC ("Rocketship", "we", "us"). We build and sell apps through Apple's App Store and other software marketplaces. By purchasing or using a Boringware app, or by using boringware.com, you agree to these terms.
Purchases
Our apps are sold through Apple's App Store and other marketplaces. Your purchase is processed by that marketplace under its terms, including its refund policies. Apps sold through Apple's App Store are licensed under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless otherwise noted.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our apps for personal or commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute our apps except where the law says we can't stop you.
Your responsibility
Our apps control real things: routers, network devices, displays, microphones. You are responsible for how you use them and for any configuration changes you make with them. Make sure you have the right to manage the networks and hardware you point our apps at.
No warranty
Our apps and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our apps will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocketship, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of our apps or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Third-party trademarks
Product names such as UniFi, Shure, or Stream Deck are trademarks of their respective owners. Boringware apps are independent products and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those companies.
Changes
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here. Continued use of our apps or website constitutes acceptance.
