What hardware does Mac Deck need?
An Elgato Stream Deck+. It's the model with the four rotary dials Mac Deck controls.
My dials aren't doing anything. What now?
Mac Deck works through macOS accessibility controls, so grant it Accessibility permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, then restart the app.
Does Mac Deck replace the Elgato software?
No. It works alongside your existing Stream Deck actions. Your buttons keep doing what they already do; Mac Deck adds app-aware behavior to the dials.
Which apps can I control?
Any macOS app that exposes accessibility controls: DAWs, video editors, design tools, and system-level things like volume and brightness. Mappings are configured per app.
